West Indies Women – Australia Women Match Prediction | 14-09-2019 19:00

Alyssa Healy came into this match on the back of a poor run in Kia Women's Super League but got back to the business of scoring well at the international level pretty quickly. She was ably assisted by Meg Lanning, who scored 121 runs. She had a scratchy start and perhaps played the most scratchy innings of her life, but her ton was vital in taking the Aussies past the 300-run mark.

Stafanie Taylor and her troops got pulverized by the Aussies in the three-match one-day international series. After crashing to a massive 178-run loss in the opening ODI, the Windies slumped to another huge defeat in the second match before going down in the third and final ODI to suffer an embarrassing series sweep. Australia Women have clearly been the superior side on this tour. West Indies Women have simply been no match for the visitors so far.

Australia outplayed the Windies in the preceding one-day international series and they were never really pushed in any of the three games. Having said that, they will need to be at their best if they are to beat the tourists who are the number one T20 side in the world. Australia have been brilliant on this tour so far and we expect them to continue their winning run. The home team, however, looks a much better outfit when it comes to twenty-over cricket and one can expect Stafanie Taylor and company to give the Aussies a run for their money in this format of the game.

Australia Women vs West Indies Women 4th ODI Today Match Prediction June 26th

Considering how they were doing at the half-way stage, it was surprising to see them not getting bowled out. They eventually finished with just 157 runs on the board in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, the hosts never looked to even challenge the Australian total, let alone pulling the chase off. The hosts have clearly disappointed their fans in the first two matches and it will certainly be a tough ask for them to bounce back and win the final ODI of the series.

Prior to that, however, the Windies beat Pakistan 2-1 in Pakistan and swept the Irish 3-0 on their tour of Ireland. West Indies Women have won four, lost two and tied one out of the seven T20 internationals they have played this year. They played their last T20I series more than a couple of months ago in England where they lost 0-1 against the hosts in a three-match series.

Live telecast of the match is scheduled to begin at 7 PM local time. The first T20I will be played on September 14 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. After their flawless performance in the ODIs, Australia will now look to continue their dominance in the twenty-over format as the two teams prepare to take on each other in the three-match T20 international series.

With a scintillating win over England in Ashes, it's not just the Australian Men's team that is looking in a rampaging mood at the moment. With series already done and dusted, there is not much left at stake for both the sides. Having said that, the Aussies will be looking to win this game to complete their first white-wash at the Caribbean Islands whereas the hosts will be looking to redeem something back from this fixture. Australian Women's team have backed up their superb win over England with a couple of fabulous win over West Indies, their first two ever at West Indies' soil. West Indies, on the other hand, have appeared to be just a mere shadow of themselves and are likely to find bouncing back from here a little tough.

Betting Tips

They were eventually dismissed for a total of 130 runs. Even though Stephanie Taylor offered a brief resistance, it was nowhere near what was required from her as well as their batting on the who. Earlier with the ball, their bowlers failed to take advantage of the uneven surface as the Aussie women racked up 308 runs on the board. Going in the next match, Windies women have a massive task at their hands and they'd have to improve massively if they want to stand even a minute chance against this potent Australian lineup.

While the Aussies are expected to bring about a couple of changes to their playing eleven, West Indies are likely to go in with their full-strength team. On paper and on-field, the Australians are certainly a better side and, are, therefore, our pick to emerge victorious in the upcoming encounter. However, considering the way the two teams have played in the competition thus far, it is highly unlikely for the West Indies to match the level of performance the Aussies have shown in the past two matches.
